I have been so busy with moms wedding, though  ended up not making my dress I did make the veil and my cousins dress. She encouraged all the women in our family to wear red to her wedding on the lower east side, it was held at a community garden across the street from the "Earth School" where she is a teacher. Beautiful.

For the birdcage veil I uses Tulle:nothing fancy just sturdy and white
Swarovski crystals in a seafoam opal
and a beautiful swirly feather
and a metal hair comb

The cost was about 15$

I cut a big Circle and gathered the veil with a needle and fishing line. I used my friends head and slowly shaped it. Once it sat across the face correctly, I pushed the comb thought he veil and hot glued he feather piece, then I carefully added the crystals.

Hot mom and a beautiful veil.

Oh and heres the dress I made for my cousin Larisa, shes the one on the far right
