I saw this tutorial on TONY and thought it was beautiful, Abilene bar is the bar up the road from hy house, i have never gone in but always noticed these pretty lights. My boyfriend recently re-created this in his room but attached a dimmer to the switch, The effect is beautiful.
"5–20 Y-shaped socket adapters (a.k.a. “splitters”), $2.79 at Home Depot (
15–20 small round standard-base lightbulbs,
STEP BY STEP
* Make sure your ceiling has a standard-socket light fixture into which you can screw the chandelier.
1 Take a Y-shaped socket adapter and screw two more Y-shaped socket adapters into each of its ends.
2
Then screw two more socket adapters into each of those ends and so on,
until your chandelier has split out enough to the desired size.
3 Next, screw the lightbulbs into the empty socket ends.
4
Attach the completed chandelier to the ceiling by twisting the original
Y-shaped adapter—which is now the chandelier’s base—into your ceiling’s
light fixture. Seriously, that’s it!

- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/3 cup gruyere, grated
- 1/3 cup cheddar, grated
- 1/3 cup parmesan, grated
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- Salt, nutmeg, cayenne pepper to taste
Melt
butter in a large saucepan and whisk in flour, cooking — but not
browning — for about two minutes. Gradually whisk in milk and allow
sauce to thicken, stirring often. As sauce thickens, blend the egg
yolks with one tablespoon of heavy cream and set aside.
Once the
sauce has thickened enough to coat a spoon, gradually melt in cheeses
over a low heat and season to taste. When the cheese is incorporated,
remove from heat and blend in egg yolk mixture and an additional
tablespoon of cream. Return to heat and allow to thicken, stirring
often.

I love this website, it helps you make great crafts on a budget tons of ideas like this neat picture hanger. I would put this up in my kitchen and hang recipes off of them, I write them on clothing tags so its hard to not get them messy while I cook or bake
"Claire from Poopscape does it again with this super-simple yet classy and modern memo wall project. As she says: “This
is a really good project for people like me who like to pin a lot of
crap on the wall- you only make 8 small holes in the wall instead of
200.”
This project is great for displaying family photos, memos to self
(or others), or inspirations. I can also imagine a really cool monthly
calendar that uses this idea. If you wanted to make it a little less
modern, you could substitute materials for the wire and clips. How
about pretty yarn or lace for the wire, or clothespins for the clips?
If you want to go by the project instructions, you can find a
picture-hanging kit at the dollar store, that includes picture wire and
eyelet screws.

Just put the stick of butter between two large pieces of wax paper.
Using a rolling pin, press down on the butter. Roll it out they way you
would roll out a pie crust. When the butter is about 1/8 to 1/4-inch
thick, lift off the wax paper and peel away the butter (before it gets
too soft to peel)

This is a great re-use idea for an old ladder, I especially love the ones with tons of paint marks, though i would sand one down is the chips are falling off
